By Terry Ombre Blackstar review

Today I would like to show some love to one of my favorite makeup products that I’ve been using for years that are By Terry Ombre Blackstar eye shadow sticks.

They have saved me so many times in the morning when I had no time to get ready but I really needed to show up prepared (aka with a good makeup). Ok maybe I didn’t need to show up with makeup but I wanted to, you know how that is.

Product

By Terry Ombre Blackstar are eye shadow sticks that you can use instead of your classic powder eye shadows to create an amazing eye look. They are waaaay more intense than the majority eye shadows and they last the whole day!

There are 9 different colors of this product as of now and I have 5 of them:

• Blond Opal : the lightest shade, beautiful for the inner corner highlight

• Ombre Mercure : taupe color, beautiful for an evening look

• Frozen Quartz : wearable pink shade (not a barbie pink)

• Bronze Moon : perfect bronze shade that suits everyone

• Black Pearl : amazing shimmery black color, great for an easy smokey eye

They are all stunning and equally pigmented and shimmery.

How to use it?

This product is very versatile this is why I love it so much. Here are several ways to use the Ombre Blackstar shadows:

• All over the lid for an easy peasy look in seconds and if you blend the corners, it creates a smokey eye effect (you’re welcome 😉 )

• As an eye shadow base : you can apply the Ombre Blackstar and then apply any powder shadow. This will create a more intense look and it will last way longer than the powder shadow alone

• As a liner : you can apply the Ombre Blackstar on the top of the lashes, blend it slightly and it acts like a smudged liner

Price

32€ a piece but you can find a mini size for 17€ if you would like to try it out before purchasing the full size. Also, you need the smallest amount, so I think that a mini size is more than enough!

Overall

The By Terry Ombre Blackstar sticks are amazing: pigmented, easy to apply and they last the whole day. One of my favorite products in my (rather vast) makeup collection, I can only recommend them!
